1. Mail In Entries:
To enter the promotion without conducting a transaction, send a letter by mail in an envelope with your full name, address and phone number as well as copy of completed nomination form online with suitable postage to any of the following country/region you reside:

Mail-in entries received without all the information requested above will be void. Limited to one entry per mailing envelope. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected mail. Mail-in entries must be received by September 30, 2022.

The number of entries received per person over the Promotional Period is not limited, regardless of method of entry. A transaction will not increase your chances of selection. Odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received within the Promotional Period. For more information regarding the use of entry information see “Privacy” section.

2. Eligibility for Entry
Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of July 31st, 2022.

Must have Mailed in an entry (Mail-in-Entry) or conducted a money transfer transaction during the promotional period, August 1,2022-September 30, 2022, and registered by completing the nomination form online.

This promotion is only open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec.

3. Privacy
Information submitted by entrants for the Promotion may be disclosed by the Sponsor to third parties, pursuant to legal requirements.

4. Gift Details
Ten entrants will be chosen to nominate a student each, to benefit from a scholarship valued at CAD$300 or J$30,000 (entrant can nominate a student either in Canada or Jamaica).

The selected nominees must be enrolled for the upcoming school term to be eligible to receive prizes.

5. General Rules
5.1 Employees of Jamaica National Group and its member companies and their agents, including their immediate families (parents, siblings, spouse, and children) are not eligible to enter this competition.
5.2 Claiming Period: Nominators will be notified by 12:00 p.m. on the day after selection. Failure to claim the opportunity to nominate a student to receive a gift within seven (7) days of notification (which does not include weekends) will result in its forfeiture. The Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate nominator from the remaining eligible nominators.
5.3 The Sponsor reserves the right to delay, terminate or amend this promotion at any time. In any of these events, notice will be given to the participants via an advertisement.
5.4 The Sponsor reserves the right to use photographs or videos of nominator in promotional articles and publicity features. If the nominator refuse, they will forfeit the opportunity to nominate a student to receive a prize.

6. Nominator eligibility will be determined by the following:
6.1 Automatic entry of non-cancelled money transfer transactions conducted August 1- September 30, 2022,
6.2 Mail-in entries post marked August 1- September 30, 2022,
6.3 Completed online nomination form.

7. Selection for the awardees will be governed by the following:
A representative from the JN Group Internal Audit Department will be invited to oversee the drawings on the dates outlined under “Date of Selection”.

8. All participants must agree to abide by the rules of the Promotion. The decisions of JN Money Services Limited regarding all aspects of the Promotion will be final.

9. Participants who do not adhere to the terms and conditions of the Promotion will be disqualified.

10. Method of selection of successful entrants:
There will be one (1) draw dates during the promotional period. A data pull will be requested from the JNMS Group Information Technology Unit detailing all qualifying entries. Mail in entries received during the specified periods (outlined under Date of Selection) will be included in the draws.

Test of skill: Persons in Canada, exempting Quebec, will only be considered a successful entrant once he/she satisfies the test of skill. Potential entrant (s) will be required to complete the following: “What is (2 × 2) + (10 × 2)”. Upon successful completion of the test, the customer will be considered a successful entrant.

Drawing for the nominators will be selected on or about the dates under “Date of Selection”. An additional ten (10) persons will be selected as back up nominators.

The successful nominators will be notified by telephone. Three consecutive telephone attempts will be made to reach each nominator no later than 12:00 p.m. of the following day. If JNMS exhausts the number of attempts and calls were unsuccessful, the next person in line from the pre-selected back up nominators will be selected.
A failed attempt is when the phone rings without an answer, goes to voicemail or is busy or answered by someone other than the nominator JNMS is trying to reach. Successful nominators will be asked to produce a valid ID (Passport or Driver’s license).

11. Date of selection: There will be one (1) selection date throughout the promotional period.

Selections will be done at JN Money Services Ltd, 9 King Street, Kingston, Jamaica at 10 AM.
